Abstract

Since December 26, 2019, the Government of Jember Regency, East Java has again determined the status of an extraordinary event (KLB) for hepatitis A disease or liver inflammation caused by hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection. The spread of Hepatitis A Virus infection can be analyzed using the SIR mathematical model (suspected, infected, and recovered). From the SIR model, there are two equilibrium points, namely E_1=(μ/γ,0,0) and E_2= ((α+γ+δ)/β,μ/(α+γ+δ)-γ/β,αμ/γ (α+γ+δ) -α/β) which is useful for measuring the level of virus spread. Meanwhile, to analyze the stability, the Jacobi matrix linearization was used
