Abstract
Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease caused by a problem in the insulin production process. Diabetes Mellitus is a major problem in the world in the health sector. In 2018. The problem discussed is how is the relationship between family support and the level of compliance with Diabetes Mellitus management in the Sukowono Jember Health Center area. The approach in this study uses a cross sectional which emphasizes the measurement time or data observation of the independent variable and the dependent variable which is carried out only once at a time. The design of this research is consecutive sampling. The sample size in this study was 22 people. Analysis of the data using the Fisher Exact Test, the results of this study showed that most of the family support was quite good, amounting to 15 people with a percentage of 68.2%, the level of compliance was mostly non-compliant with 18 people with a percentage of 81.8% and the relationship between family support and the level of management compliance. diabetes mellitus was obtained value 0.005. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between family support and the level of management compliance in patients with Diabetes Mellitus at the Sukowono Public Health Center, Jember. The relationship between family support and the level of compliance in the management of Diabetes Mellitus has a great influence on patients, patients' families, nurses, health centers, and further researchers. It can be concluded that the relationship between family support and the level of adherence to the management of Diabetes Mellitus is very important.
