Abstract

Latar Belakang: Berat badan bayi baru lahir adalah berat badan neonates pada saat kelahiran yang ditimbang dalam waktu satu jam setelah lahir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi adanya hubungan antara usia ibu saat hamil dengan berat badanbayi baru lahir di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ajung. Metode: Desainkorelasi, jenis penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional study.Populasi berjumlah 1.198 dengan sampel 300 menggunakan rumus slovin dan diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil: Uji statistik antara usia ibu saat hamil dengan berat badan bayi baru lahir yang diukur menggunakan one way ANOVA diperoleh p value 0,030 ≤ 0,05 dan F hitung 1,547 artinya terdapat hubungan usia ibu saat hamil dengan berat badan bayi baru lahir pada kelompok usia 20-35tahun. Saran dari penelitian ini sebaiknya ibu memutuskan hamil pada usia antara 20-35 tahun.
