Abstract
GAMBARAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI PESERTA DIDIK SMK KARTINI JEMBER DITINJAU DARI MINAT JURUSAN Wulan Nursella1 Iin Ervina2 Anggraeni Swastika Sari3 INTISARI Kepercayaan diri yakni keyakinan pada diri sendiri yang ditunjukkan oleh sikap dalam menyikapi suatu pencapaian yang berhasil dilakukan sehingga memiliki kemampuan lebih dalam menilai kelebihan serta kekurangan diri. Peserta didik membutuhkan rasa kepercayaan diri dalam melakukan setiap hal agar dapat memahami sesuatu yang benar dan salah untuk dirinya agar tidak menyebabkan rasa penyesalan. Peserta didik harus mempunyai rasa percaya akan pilihan memilih jurusan dalam SMK Kartini Jember yang peserta didik yakini bahwa dirinya mempunyai kemampuan lebih dalam bidang tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan pen dekatan deskriptif. Tekhnik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini adalah random sampling dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 220 dengan sampel 136 peserta didik kelas X pada SMK Kartini Jember. Skala yang digunakan adalah Kepercayaan Diri, dimana modifikasi dari skala yang dibuat oleh Aiman (2016). Uji yang digunakan dalam analisa data uji instrument, uji asumsi dan uji deskriptif. Program analisa pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan SPSS 16 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik di SMK Kartini Jember memiliki kepercayaan diri yang rendah berdasarkan analisa tingkat kepercayaan diri secara keseluruhan mendapatkan prosentase 51%. Aspek kepercayaan diri tertinggi dimiliki peserta didik yaitu pada aspek Konsep diri dengan jumlah prosentasenya 54%. Analisa demografi gambaran kepercayaan diri berdasarkan jenis jurusan perolehan tertinggi yaitu jurusan multimedia pada kategori rendah dengan prosentase 57%. Jenis kelamin dapat perolehan tertinggi, pada kategori rendah pada perempuan jurusan pemasaran, pada laki-laki jurusan akuntansi perolehan tertinggi pada kategori rendah mendapatkan prosentase 52%. Suku bangsa perolehan tertinggi, suku bangsa Madura kategori rendah pada jurusan pemasaran mendapatkan prosentase 60%. Kata Kunci: Kepercayaan diri, Peserta didik 1Peneliti 2Dosen Pembimbing I 3Dosen Pembimbing II THE DESCRIPTION OF CONFIDENCE IN TERMS OF MAJORING IN THE STUDENTS OF SMK KARTINI JEMBER Wulan Nursella1 Iin Ervina2 Anggraeni Swastika Sari 3 ABSTRACT Self-confidence is a belief in oneself which is shown by the attitude of students in responding to an achievement that has been successfully carried out so that they have more ability to assess their strengths and weaknesses. Students need confidence in doing everything in order to understand what is right and wrong for themselves so as not to couse regret in the future. Students must have a sence of confidence in the choice in choosing a major in SMK Kartini Jember which students believe that they have more abilities in that flied. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this study was random sampling with a population of 220 with a sample of 136 students of class X at SMK KartiniJember.The scale used is Self-Confidence, which is a modification of the scale made by Aiman (2016). The tests used in data analysis are instrument test, assumption test and descriptive test. The analysis program in this research is using SPSS 16 for windows. The results of this study indicate that students at SMK Kartini Jember have low self-confidence based on an analysis of the overall level of confidence getting a percentage of 51%. The aspect of delf-concept with a total percentage of 54%. Demographic analysis of self-confidence based on the type of majors with the highest gain, namely multimedia majors in the low category with a percentage of 57%. Gender got the highest gain, in the low category, woman majoring in marketing and men majoring in accounting had the highest gain in the low category getting 52% percentage.
