Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan Jambu Biji hanya terbatas pekarangan dan masih jarang pada pengembangan budidaya yang bersifat komersil. Salah satu daerah yang mengembangkan jambu biji adalah Kecamatan Umbulsari. Penelitian ini untuk menghitung keuntungan dan tingkat efisiensi usaha tani jambu biji, serta untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usaha tani jambu biji di Kecamatan Umbulsari Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Umbulsari Kabupaten Jember pada bulan September sampai dengan November 2018. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Proposionale Random Sampling berjumlah 38 responden. Metode Analisis data menggunakan analisis keuntungan, RC Ratio dan regresi linier berganda model Cobb Douglas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa usaha tani jambu biji di Kecamatan Umbulsari Kabupaten Jember menguntungkan. Hal ini bisa di buktikan dengan terdapat margin positif antara penerimaan dan biaya usaha tani sebesar Rp.18.091.440,- per ha per tahun. Usaha tani jambu biji di Kecamatan Umbulsari Kabupaten Jember efisien dalam penggunaan biaya dengan nilai RC Ratio sebesar 1,996. Hasil penelitian juga menyebutkan bahwa luas lahan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap produksi. Jumlah tanaman berpengaruh tidak signifikan, sedangkan umur tanaman, biaya pupuk, biaya obat- obatan serta biaya tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi jambu biji di Kecamatan Umbulsari Kabupaten Jember. One of the areas that develop guava is Umbulsari District. This research is to calculate the profit and efficiency level of guava farming, as well as to determine the factors that influence the production of guava farming in Umbulsari District, Jember Regency. This research was conducted in Umbulsari District, Jember Regency from September to November 2018. Sampling using the Proportional Random Sampling method amounted to 38 respondents. Methods Data analysis uses profit analysis, RC Ratio and multiple linear regression Cobb Douglas model. The results showed that guava farming in Umbulsari District, Jember Regency was profitable. This can be proven by the positive margin between income and farming costs of Rp. 18,091,440, - per ha per year. Guava farming in Umbulsari District, Jember Regency is efficient in the use of costs with an RC Ratio value of 1.996. The results of the study also stated that land area had a significant negative effect on production. The number of plants did not have a significant effect, while the age of the plant, the cost of fertilizer, the cost of medicines and the cost of labor had a positive and significant effect on guava production in Umbulsari District, Jember Regency.
