Abstract
Abstrak Pendahuluan: Peran perawat sebagai konselor adalah perawat sebagai pendamping untuk membantu dan memberikan solusi di setiap masalah yang dihadapi pasien. Asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan oleh perawat tidak lepas dari aspek spiritual yang merupakan bagian integral dari perawat dan pasien. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan peran perawat sebagai konselor dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pasien rawat inap. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan peran perawat sebagai konselor dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pasien. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Citra Husada Kabupaten Jember sebanyak 72 responden dengan sampel 61 responden yang diambil secara quota sampling. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas (75,4%) responden menilai peran perawat ruang rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Citra Husada sebagai konselor dalam kategori cukup optimal, (75,4%) responden menilai dengan kategori cukup optimal dan (13,1%) responden menilai dengan kategori kurang optimal. Pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pasien sebagian besar (77,0%) dalam kategori cukup terpenuhi, (9,8%) responden dalam kategori kurang terpenuhi dan (13,1%) responden dalam kategori terpenuhi. Hasil uji statistik spearman rho dengan (α = 0,05) didapatkan p value 0,001, r = 0,552 yang artinya ada hubungan antara peran perawat sebagai konselor dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Citra Husada Jember. Kesimpulan: Perawat cukup optimal dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai konselor, karena perawat tidak hanya memberikan tindakan medis tetapi juga memperhatikan spiritual pasien. Saran dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan informasi mengenai peran perawat sebagai konselor dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pasien. Kata Kunci: Kebutuhan Spiritual, Konselor, Peran Perawat Abstract Introduction: The role of the nurse as a counselor is the nurse as a companion to help and provide solutions to every problem faced by the patient. Nursing care provided by nurses cannot be separated from the spiritual aspect which is an integral part of nurses and patients. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the nurse's role as a counselor and the fulfillment of the spiritual needs of inpatients. Methods: The design of this research is correlational with a cross sectional approach which aims to identify the relationship between the nurse's role as a counselor and the fulfillment of the patient's spiritual needs. The population of this study were inpatients at Citra Husada Hospital, Jember Regency as many as 72 respondents with a sample of 61 respondents taken by quota sampling. The instrument of this research used a questionnaire. Research Results: The results showed that the majority (75.4%) of respondents assessed the role of inpatient ward nurses at Citra Husada Hospital as counselors in the quite optimal category, (75.4%) respondents rated it in the quite optimal category and (13.1 %) respondents rated the category less than optimal. Most of the patients' spiritual needs (77.0%) were in the moderately fulfilled category, (9.8%) of the respondents in the less fulfilled category and (13.1%) of the respondents in the fulfilled category. The results of the spearman rho statistical test with (α = 0.05) obtained p value of 0.001, r = 0.552, which means that there is a relationship between the nurse's role as a counselor and the fulfillment of the spiritual needs of inpatients at Citra Husada Hospital Jember. Conclusion: Nurses are quite optimal in carrying out their role as counselors, because nurses do not only provide medical treatment but also pay attention to the patient's spirituality. Suggestions from this study are to increase information about the role of nurses as counselors in meeting the spiritual needs of patients. Keywords: Spiritual Needs, Counselors, Nurse's Role
