Abstract

Peningkatan konsumsi bahan bakar minyak bumi di Indonesia menurut data dari Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BPH Migas) mencatat pada tahun 2016 kenaikan bahan bakar jenis pertalite yang sebelumnya 48 kiloliter menjadi 55 kiloliter di tahun 2017. sehingga dengan adanya peningkatan tersebut akan dilakukan penelitian mengenai bagaimana pengaruh bahan bakar polypropylene terhadap torsi, daya pada motor metic 110 cc konvensionald dan berapa nilai uji kinerja mesin oleh bahan bakar yang dicamput polypropylene. Metode yang digunakan adalah jenis eksperimental dan melakukan uji performa motor berbahan bakar pertalite dan bahan bakar plastic jenis polypropylene (PP) seperti Torsi dan Daya menggunakan alat Dynotest. Hasil penelitain menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada torsi dan daya pada motor matic 110 cc konvensional. Dan yang terakhir Torsi tertinggi pada penggunaan polypropylene 25% dengan torsi maksimal 10.10 NM dan daya tertinggi pada penggunaan polypropylene 15% dengan daya maksimal 6.9 Hp. Kata Kunci : Polypropylene, Torsi, Daya, Dynotest Abstract.The increase in consumption of petroleum fuel in Indonesia according to data from the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) noted that in 2016 the increase in pertalite type fuel which was previously 48 kiloliters to 55 kiloliters in 2017. about how the influence of polypropylene fuel on torque, power on a conventional 110 cc metic motor and what is the value of the engine performance test by fuel mixed with polypropylene. The method used is an experimental type and performs a performance test of the motor with pertalite fuel and polypropylene (PP) plastic fuel such as Torque and Power using the Dynotest tool. The results of the research show that there is an influence on torque and power on a conventional 110 cc automatic motor. And lastly, the highest torque is in the use of 25% polypropylene with a maximum torque of 10.10 NM and the highest power is in the use of 15% polypropylene with a maximum power of 6.9 Hp.
