Abstract

Growing time nowadays plastic garbage has become one of the factors causing environmental damage in Indonesia.Some of the characteristics of polypropylene or pp plastic are its high elasticity and strength, its ability to retain shape, as well as having resistance to electrical flow. Zeolites formed from the volcanic ashes that had settled millions of years ago. Naphthalene has similar properties that allow it to be used as an octane enhancer additive. Pyrolysis is the process of thermal decomposition of organic matter without the presence of oxygen with liquid, gas, and solid products. Incinerators as garbage burners and as steam generators by converting the heat of combustion(Bahri, 2021). The world of plastic industry, testing the chemical composition of a plastic is important to ensure the quality of a product. For analysis, use the Analisa method using GC MS (Gas Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry). The experimental methods are conducted in a controlled manner and are useful research methods to find the effects of certain treatments.The effect of natural zeolite and naphthalene catalysts on the results of pyrolysis that has been performed in the study indicates that the presence of natural Zeolites and Naphthalenes at the time of pyrolyse can accelerate the evaporation process with the result of faster exhaust of oil from the incinerator pipe. The results of the research using the GC tool MS has been done, explaining the oil sample 1 there are 50 elements of chemical compounds, sample 2 there are 50 elements of Chemical composits, sampel 3 there are 50 elements of the chemical composition and sample.
