Abstract
Indonesia memiliki berbagai hewan mamalia terutama hewan musang, musang adalah sejenis mamalia berukuran kecil yang berasal dari keluarga (viverridae) musang merupakan hewan yang cukup banyak digemari terutama wilayah Jember, dan banyak juga para pemula yang memelihara hewan musang dan banyak juga yang belum mengetahui tentang beberapa penyakit yang sering dialami oleh musang sehingga banyak musang yang mengalami kematian akibat salah penanganan saat terkena penyakit, dan juga kurangnya dokter spesialis hewan terutama hewan musang di wilayah pedesaan, sehingga dikembangkanlah sebuah sistem pakar atau expert system yang merupakan suatu perangkat lunak (software) atau sistem informasi yang mempunyai seputar ilmu dari seorang pakar mengenai suatu bidang tertentu. Sistem Pakar adalah suatu program komputer yang bisa meniru keahlian dari seorang pakar, seperti dokter dalam mendiagnosa suatu penyakit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Certainty Factor atau factor kepastian. Metode ini sangatlah cocok dalam proses diagnosa penyakit, karena Certainty Factor adalah suatu metode yang berguna mengatasi permasalahan yang memilki tingkat ketidak pastian dalam jawabannya. Ketidakpastian didefinisikan sebagai kurangnya pengetahuan yang tepat dan memungkinkan kita untuk mencapai kesimpulan yang dapat diandalkan secara sempurna. Hasil dari penelitian metode Certainty Factor dapat diaplikasikan dalam sistem pakar yang telah dibuat dengan akurasI yang telah divalidasi oleh Pakar terhadap 25 data uji baru dengan nilai akurasi sebesar 80% hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pakar diagnosa pada musang sangat layak untuk digunakan. ABSTRACT Indonesia has various mammals, especially civets, civets are a type of small mammal that comes from the family (viverridae) civets are animals that are quite popular, especially in the Jember area, and there are also many beginners who keep civets and many also don't know about some of them. diseases that ferrets often experience, so many ferrets die due to mishandling when they get sick, and there is also a lack of veterinary specialists, especially ferrets in rural areas, so an expert system or expert system was developed which is a software or system. information that contains knowledge from an expert regarding a particular field. An expert system is a computer program that can imitate the skills of an expert, such as a doctor, in diagnosing a disease. The method used in this research is the Certainty Factor or certainty factor. This method is very suitable in the disease diagnosis process, because Certainty Factor is a method that is useful for dealing with problems that have a level of uncertainty in the answer. Uncertainty is defined as the lack of knowledge that is precise and allows us to reach perfectly reliable conclusions. The results of the Certainty Factor method research can be applied in an expert system that has been created with accuracy that has been validated by experts on 25 new test data with an accuracy value of 80%. This can state that the expert system for diagnosis in ferrets is very suitable for use.
