Abstract

Pengaruh Bahan Aditif Sika Addition dan Aquaproof Beton Mix terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton The Influence of Sika Addition and Aquaproof Beton Mix Additives on Concrete Compressive Strength Ivanna Freya Zerlanda Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember email: ivannafreya82@gmail.com Abstrak Globalisasi telah mendorong perkembangan infrastruktur secara masif, menjadikan beton sebagai bahan bangunan utama yang banyak digunakan. Meskipun memiliki banyak kelebihan, beton sering menghadapi masalah seperti rendahnya kuat tekan dan retak. Inovasi penggunaan bahan tambahan kimia seperti Sika Addition dan Aquaproof Beton Mix muncul untuk mengatasi kendala ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penambahan bahan aditif kimia, yaitu Sika Additon dan Aquaproof Beton Mix, terhadap kekuatan tekan beton. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan membandingkan beton normal dan beton yang telah ditambahkan bahan aditif. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknik Sipil Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, menggunakan sampel beton silinder yang direndam selama 7, 14, dan 28 hari sebelum dilakukan pengujian kekuatan tekan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa beton dengan tambahan aditif mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kekuatan tekan dibandingkan beton normal. Penambahan Aquaproof Beton Mix meningkatkan kekuatan tekan sebesar 319% setelah 7 hari, 541% setelah 14 hari, dan 1089% setelah 28 hari dibandingkan beton normal. Sedangkan penambahan Sika Additon memberikan peningkatan kekuatan tekan sebesar 2085 MPa setelah 7 hari, 2239 MPa setelah 14 hari, dan 2684 MPa setelah 28 hari. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan bahan aditif kimia Sika Additon dan Aquaproof Beton Mix secara signifikan meningkatkan kekuatan tekan beton, yang dapat bermanfaat dalam aplikasi konstruksi untuk menghasilkan beton yang lebih kuat dan ekonomis. Kata Kunci: Aquaproof Beton Mix, Bahan Aditif, Beton, Kekuatan Tekan, Sika Addition Abstract Globalization has driven massive infrastructure development, making concrete the primary building material widely used. Despite its many advantages, concrete often faces issues such as low compressive strength and cracking. Innovations in the use of chemical additives like Sika Addition and Aquaproof Beton Mix have emerged to address these challenges.This study aims to evaluate the effect of adding chemical additives, namely Sika Addition and Aquaproof Beton Mix, on the compressive strength of concrete. The research method used is an experimental method by comparing normal concrete and concrete with added additives. The study was conducted at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, using cylindrical concrete samples soaked for 7, 14, and 28 days before performing the compressive strength test. The test results showed that concrete with added additives experienced a significant increase in compressive strength compared to normal concrete. The addition of Aquaproof Beton Mix increased compressive strength by 319% after 7 days, 541% after 14 days, and 1089% after 28 days compared to normal concrete. Meanwhile, the addition of Sika Addition provided an increase in compressive strength by 2085 MPa after 7 days, 2239 MPa after 14 days, and 2684 MPa after 28 days. The conclusion of this study is that the use of chemical additives Sika Addition and Aquaproof Beton Mix significantly improves the compressive strength of concrete, which can be beneficial in construction applications to produce stronger and more economical concrete.
