Abstract

Research on the company's decision to do a stock split. especially on stock prices is an event study in the company. This study aims to identify and analyze the differences in stock prices before and after the slock splitt in Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013 data used are secondary data from the manufacturing company's stock price is the stock-split in 2013 Population and sample ofthe study is a manufacturing company slock split in 2013 with the number 5 company. Using a sample of5 companies and analysis ofthe data by means of the partial test (t-test) obtained results tcount 3.046, with a pvalue of0.006. So it can be concluded that there are differences in the stock price before the announcement of the stock split announcement after the stock split.
