Abstract

The raft foundation is a kind of shallow foundation which is often used by economics raft foundation works to pass the load through a set of columns or walls to the subsoil. The foundation of raft becomes alternative choice seen from external factor that is implementation process which do not give impact to surrounding environment or building around it. The raft foundation is used when the base soil has a low carrying capacity or a large column load so that more than 50% of the building area is required to support the foundation if using conventional scattering pads, in the construction of the Tower 1 Grand Dharmahusada Lagoon project using the raft foundation as its underlying structure supported bore pile is very useful to forward from the top load into the ground. The purpose of knowing the capacity of raft foundation foundation in Tower 1 Grand Dharmahusada Lagoon to know the ability of raft foundation with bore pile support with depth of 60 meter in holding upper structure. the author tries to analyze the ability of the raft foundation on the project using the 3 review approach by finding the column capacity so that the columns obtained in overinforced and underinforced conditions to be passed into the tension on the raft foundation are then analyzed in the plaxis 2D program so it can be declared safe. The calculation results from the capacity of the raft foundation capacity on 3 views for safety factor > 2 so it is stated safe, the differential setlement occurs > 0.5 so it can be declared safe because of the small difference of the decrease. The deflection on the raft foundation is smaller than the maximum deflection limit in accordance with SNI 03-2847-2002 so that it is declared safe, and for the moment control that occurs in 3 raft foundations <62569.23 KMM so it is declared safe.
