Abstract
Religion and religiosity are two inseparable words. Religion related to a formal organizations which gives religious orders to the followers, while religiosity refers to feelings and practices of religion in one particular religion that they believes. Religious is related to belief in religion, while religion is related to faith and beliefs. Religious behavior is based on the religious values, beliefs, as well as in line with the cultural values and values of local wisdom. It must be owned by fostered residents as a guide in their lives. These values are sought to be inculcated in fostered inmate during the prison process. This research used quantitative descriptive. The data analysis method used is instrument test, assumption and descriptive test. The results showed overall of 202 subjects as many as 107 subjects were in the high category with 53% percentage. Based on the results of the dimension belief that it related to the problem of human belief in the teachings that adopts show a high category with 167 prisoners with 83% percentage. While the dimension with low category is indicated by the dimensions of religious practice with the number of 105 prisoners with 52% percentage. Based on the demographic results of the region, the level of religiosity of inmates according to the sex of 202 inmates, there are male prisoners who have high religiosity of 109 inmates with 62% percentage and there are female inmates who have high religiosity of 13 inmates with 52% percentage. In terms of age, at the level of religiosity of adolescents aged 16-21 years (57%) and adults aged 22-40 years (53%) showed high religiosity, whereas for middle adult aged 40-80 years (42%)
