Abstract
Self awareness is an important thing for students to have in early adolescence, especially for the formation of disciplinary behavior because with a strong self awareness students tend to be more honest with themselves and to others. Discipline has an important role in planning success, forming yourself into a superior person in the environment. Based on the results of interviews and observations that students are still found to violate school rules because students only understand the rules but do not yet have the seriousness to behave in discipline. This study aims to determine the effect of self awareness on disciplinary behavior in students at MA Al-Badri Kalisat. The research method used is associative quantitative. Researchers used a simple random sampling scale to get a sample of 111 students. The research instrument used was a scale of self awareness and scale of disciplinary behavior by using the Guttman scale with a range of scores as an answer "yes" and a score of 0 as an answer "no". Hypothesis test results using simple linear regression analysis show that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which is shown from the results of hypothesis testing with a level of sig 0,000 which means 0,000 <0.05, it can be interpreted that self awareness affects the behavior of discipline in students at MA Al-Badri Kalisat can be seen from the level of sig 0,000 shown from the results of the calculated R value of 0.434 or 43% with the contribution of the R Square variable of 0.188 or 19% or self awareness influencing discipline behavior by 19%. This research shows that there is a positive influence of 1,214 meaning that if self awareness has increased 1% then the discipline behavior has increased discipline behavior by 1,209, then it is said that if self awareness is increasing then the level of discipline behavior is increasing.
