Abstract

The number of vehicles that is increasing every year has an effect on tax revenues in
Indonesia. tax is one of the important government revenues in regional development. Regional income
sources include provincial taxes and district taxes which are expected to be a source of funding for
regional development programs and the welfare of the community. One source of regional income
from provincial taxes is the Motor Vehicle Tax, in Bondowoso Regency motor vehicle tax receipts
make a large contribution to local revenue. This research is described by the descriptive method
Percentage, the purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of motor vehicle tax, tax power
and motor vehicle tax contributions to local revenue. The results showed that motor vehicle tax
revenue was very effective, the tax power was low and the motor vehicle tax contribution was very
good.
