Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) adalah anak yang mempunyai kelainan/keterbatasan yang berpengaruh pada proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya dibandingkan dengan kondisi rata-rata anak normal baik secara fisik, mental, intelektual, sosial maupun emosional. Orangtua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus memiliki tugas dan tekanan psikologis yang lebih besar dalam mengasuh dan membesarkan anaknya. Beban-beban tersebut dapat memicu timbulnya stress pada orangtua (parenting stress) yang memiliki dampak negatif terhadap orangtua, hubungan orangtua dengan anak, dan anak itu sendiri. Pola asuh orang tua di rumah dan di lingkungan luar sangat berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan diri anak berkebutuhan khusus, tidak hanya pengembangan diri namun akademik anak dan perilaku anak akan berpengaruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan makna dan arti dari pola asuh keluarga dengan parenting stress orangtua pada anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB-B Kabupaten Jember. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan menggunakan teknik sampling total sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel sebanyak 69 orangtua anak berkebutuhan khusus dan analisa data peneliti menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di SLB-Bintoro Kabupaten Jember dengan uji statistik Chi Square didapatkan bahwa p value sebanyak 0,005 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara Pola Asuh Keluarga Dengan Parenting Stress Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Di SLB-Bintoro Kabupaten Jember. Hasil tersebut dimungkinkan karena adanya parenting stress orangtua, maka peran perawat dan guru yaitu membuka bimbingan konseling yang dapat dilakukan di sekolah sehingga memudahkan orangtua mendapatkan informasi tentang parenting stress dan pola asuh yang lebih jelas dan benar. Kata kunci : Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus, Pola Asuh, Parenting Stress Abstract Children with special needs (ABK) are children who have disabilities / limitations that affect the process of growth and development compared to the average condition of normal children both physically, mentally, intellectually, socially and emotionally. Parents who have children with special needs have greater psychological tasks and pressure in caring for and raising their children. These burdens can trigger stress on parents (parenting stress) which has a negative impact on parents, parent-child relationships, and the child itself. Parenting patterns at home and outside the environment greatly affect the development of children with special needs, not only self-development but children's academic and children's behavior will influence. This study aims to obtain the meaning and significance of family parenting with parenting stress parents in children with special needs in SLB-B, Jember Regency. The design of this study is a correlational study with a cross sectional approach using total sampling technique to obtain a sample of 69 parents of children with special needs and data analysis researchers using the Chi Square test. The results of research conducted in SLB-Bintoro, Jember Regency with the Chi Square statistical test found that the p value was 0.005 <0.05. Then it can be concluded that H1 is accepted, which means there is a relationship between Family Parenting Patterns and Parenting Stress of Children with Special Needs in SLB-Bintoro, Jember Regency. These result are posible due to parenting stress,the role of nurses and teacher is to open counseling guidance that can be done at school so that parents can easily get information about parenting stress and parenting more clearly and correctly.
