Abstract

Kegawatdaruratan diabetes mellitus merupakan suatu keadaan yang mengancam jiwa yang terkait dengan komplikasi akut diabetes mellitus sehingga perlu mendapatkan pertolongan dengan segara. Yang termasuk dalam keadaan gawatdaruratan diabetes mellitus yaitu hipoglikemia dan krisis hiperglikemia yang meliputi ketoasidosis diabetes, hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state, serta koma laktoasidosis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah penderita diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Rambipuji sebanyak 262 sedangkan sampel yang dugunakan sebanyak 30 responden. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Quota sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada pada deteksi dini kurang sebagian besar terjadi kegawat daruratan gula darah (81%). Pada deteksi dini cukup sebagian besar tidak terjadi terjadi kegawat daruratan gula darah (22,2%). Pada deteksi dini baik sebagian besar tidak terjadi kegawat daruratan gula darah (44,4%). Analisis sperman rho menunjukkan ada hubungan deteksi dini diabetes mellitus dengan kondisi kegawatan gula darah pada Klien Diabetes mellitus Tipe 2 (p value = 0,009; α = 0,05;
