Abstract

Bioethanol is a fuel that is made from fermenting plants that contain amounts of sugar, starch or cellulose hydrolysis, fermentation and distillation. Hydrolysis is a process reactants to convert starch into glucose, making bioethanol banana weevil begins with acid hydrolysis, the material dried banana weevil is 2000 grams in 5000 ml distilled water to 1000 ml hydrochloric acid (HCL) with a temperature of 100 ° C for 4 days. Hydrolysis process can be obtained from glucose grading 3.99%. In the fermentation process is described glucose into ethanol by yeast Sacharomyces cereviseae as much as 28 grams to 50 grams of urea and 50 grams Npk for 4 days and get a 10% alcohol. distillation an evaporation process based the boiling point, the boiling point of ethanol is 78.4 ° C. the results obtained by distillation in ethanol with a purity level of 88%.
