Abstract

Puger,is a sub-district in Jember Regency and is famous for its abundant marine products. Puger Beach is located in Puger Kulon Village, Puger District, ± 40 km to the south from the city of Jember. Some people who live in the village of Puger Kulon are called fishing communities. In this context the fishing community is referred to as a collective social unit of people living in coastal areas with a livelihood of fishing in the sea whose behavior patterns are bound by the prevailing cultural value system, have a shared identity and boundaries of social unity, a stable social form, and the community is formed. because the value of the same unity.
