Abstract

HUBUNGAN INDEKS MASA TUBUH DENGAN LAMA KONVERSI PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TEMPUREJO KABUPATEN JEMBER Desi Eka Wulandari1, Mohammad Ali Hamid2, Zuhrotul Eka Yulis3 Program Studi S1 Keperawatan Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember 1. Dosen Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember Abstrak Perubahan BTA positif menjadi BTA negatif setelah menjalani masa pengobatan intensif (konversi) merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam menilai respon pengobatan pasien. Masih ditemukannya kasus gagal konversi menunjukkan bahwa peluang terjadinya penularan TB masih ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan indeks masa tubuh dengan lama konversi pada pasien tuberkulosis paru. Metode penelitian menggunaka metode korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sample sebanyak 62 responden menggunakan metode Simple Random Sampling dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Che Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar indeks masa tubuh pasien tuberculosis paru adalah normal (61,3%) dan sebagian besar mengalami konversi (91,9%). Hasil analisis statistik diketahui bahwa Indeks masa tubuh berhubungan dengan lama konversi pada pasien tuberkulosis paru dengan risiko konversi 10 kali terjadi pada pasien dengan indeks masa tubuh normal (p value = 0,000 ; OR=10,618) Disarankan terus menggalakkan program pengendalian tuberculosis yang melibatkan kolaborasi professional kesehatan Kata kunci : Indeks Masa Tubuh, Lama Konversi, Tuberkulosis Paru
