Abstract

Sporophytic self-incompatible is a persarian disturbance in the flowering process of mango (Mangifera indica) cultivar Gadung. Countermeasures against such persarian disorders can be done by using chemicals as fertilizer pollen which has an effect on stigma receptivity. This research is intended to increase the role of pollen pollen in some mango cultivars so as to increase the formation of mango fruit to the harvest. The study was carried out in two stages: (1) morphological study and pollen response to pollenurizing agent, and (2) the effectiveness of pollener substances on flowering to form the fruit of mango cultivar Gadung. The results showed that (1) pollen and pollen substances from certain cultivars influenced the formation of Gdung mango, (2) Pollen from Durih cultivar which was added in fertilizer 400 g / g GA3 and sprayed on the flowering of mango Gadung causing higher fruit formation than Interaction of other treatments. The increase in the formation of higher fruits in this treatment was almost 50% when compared to the controls, but the increase in the formation of the fruits was not able to survive during the development of the fruit until the fruit was harvested, and (3) the morphology of pollen among mango cultivars, namely Gadung, Durih, Manalagi, and Golek, did not give effect to each other, an equilateral triangle of length (24.0 - 28.0) microns, but each cultivar had different responses to the pollenurizing agents.
