Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the effect of employee competence and job satisfaction on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable at the Regional Secretariat of Banyuwangi Regency. The number of samples in this study was 167. The analytical technique used was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 5.0. The results of data analysis show that the employee competence variable has a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), job satisfaction has a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), employee competence has a significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, Organizational Citizenship Behavior ( OCB) has a significant effect on employee performance. Indirectly, employee competence and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).
