Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh locus of control terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Dira Kencong Shopping Centre and Waterpark Jember. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 370 orang sedangkan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 79 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pendistribusian kuesioner kepada responden. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda. Dari tujuan diatas maka dirumuskan dua hipotesis. Hipotesis pertama Internal Locus of Control (X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerjakaryawan (Y). Hipotesis kedua External Locus of Control (X2) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y). Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa variabel X1 berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel Y daripada variabel X2 berpengaruh negatif. Untuk mempermudah analisis data regresi, korelasi dan analisis linier berganda pada penelitian ini menggunakan software SPPS 16. Kata kunci : Internal Locus of Control, External Locus of Control, Kinerja Karyawan
