Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara langsung maupun tidak
langsung pengaruh kompetensi dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja melalui komitmen
pegawai sebagai Variabel intervening pada Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten
Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian
pegawai Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kab. Jember. Sampel penelitian ini adalah
seluruh populasi sejumlah 144 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah
Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan menggunakan WarpPLS 7.0. Hasil
analisis data menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan
terhadap komitmen pegawai, pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen
pegawai, kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, pelatihan
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, komitmen pegawai berpengaruh signifikan
terhadap kinerja. Secara tidak langsung kompetensi serta pelatihan berpengaruh
signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui komitmen pegawai.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the influence of
competence and training on performance through employee commitment as an
intervening variable in the Civil Service Police Unit, Jember Regency. This
research is a quantitative study with the research population being employees of
the Civil Service Police Unit of the Regency. Jember. The sample of this research is
the entire population of 144 people. The analysis technique used was the Structural
Equation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 7.0. The results of the data analysis show
that the employee competency variable has a significant effect on employee
commitment, training has a significant effect on employee commitment, competence
has a significant effect on performance, training has a significant effect on
performance, employee commitment has a significant effect on performance.
Indirectly competence and training have a significant effect on performance
through employee commitment.
