Abstract

Suhu tubuh bayi merupakan salah satu kegawatdaruratan pada bayi baru lahir. Sebagian kematian pada bayi diakibatkan oleh adanya perubahan suhu tubuh pada saat lahir yaitu hipotermi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan berat badan lahir dengan suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir. Desain penelitian menggunkan korelasional dengan pendekatan crosssectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah bayi baru lahir di Ruang Perinatologi RSD dr. Soebandi Jember. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 78 bayi dengan menggunakan simple ramdom sampling. Analisis data pada penelian ini menggunakan Regresi Linear. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai p value = 0,035 dan perasamaan linear yaitu Suhu tubuh= 350,966 + 0.002*berat badan. Hasil penelitian diketahui koefisien bernilai positif artinya ada hubungan positif antara berat badan dan suhu tubuh. Semakin besar berat badan lahir bayi maka semakin tinggi suhu tubuh bayi. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah hendaknya perawat dapat mengobservasi perubahan suhu pada bayi terutama pada saat perpindahan ruangan, dari ruang persalinan menuju ruang perawatan, dan tetap mengobservasi secara ketat suhu tubuh bayi terutama 1-2 jam sesaat setelah persalinan.
