Abstract

Erosi dan Sedimentasi menyebabkan turunnya fungsi kebutuhan air Sungai Sampean karena tata guna lahan yang tidak mempertimbangkan aspek fungsi sungai, sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan yang pelik dan tidak hanya menurunkan fungsi kebutuhan air tetapi juga menyebabkan penurunan muka tanah diwilayah daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Sampean Hulu. Oleh karena itu, penelitian dilakukan “Analisis Erosi dan Sedimentasi di DAS Sampean Hulu Menggunakan Metode USLE Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (ArcGis)” adapun aspek yang akan diteliti adalah Erosi menggunakan metode Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), untuk sedimentasi menetapkan metode Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) menggunakan nilai dari luas DAS. Hasil yang diperoleh dari nilai erosi adalah sebesar 39,617 ton/ha per tahun, hasil dari Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) menggunakan parameter luas DAS sebesar 0,163 km dan dari hasil nilai erosi dan sedimen didapatkan nilai dari muatan sedimen sebesar 6,458 ton/ha per tahun. Nilai total muatan sedimen sebesar 255,847 ton per tahun.
