Abstract
This paper proposes a stress monitoring method in the chicken supply chain related to halal. Stress is one of the critical points in the chicken supply chain because it affects the health of chickens which is one of the requirements for halal and to improve product quality. The environmental conditions of the truck during delivery affect the activity and stress on the chickens. Monitoring stress using an RFID-based Pressure Monitoring System tag that is placed on the chicken ground cage on the chicken expedition truck. The placement of an RFID sensor tag on a truck and the use of RFID readers that emits radio waves enables reading and monitoring of chicken leg pressure on the ground cage in real-time. The more pressure recorded on the pressure-sensing tag, the higher the stress level in the chicken.
