Abstract
ABSTRACT The lack of waste management and the low awareness of the community caused the pile of waste are not well managed and give off a foul odor as the source of some diseases. Lack of waste management technology information issued by environmental governance causes the slow handling and un-proper of waste management. Thus, based on the main problem above the automatically waste-bucket which able to sort the organic and inorganic waste is needed in order to fit the kind of waste as the early warning system which informs the user that the waste-bucket is already full filled and handled immediately. The prototype of smart waste-bucket using microcontroller ESP 32 as a control system. The capacitive and inductive proximity sensor to detect the kind of organic and inorganic waste. Servo to control the waste-bucket entrance slot and sort the entranced waste. Ultrasonic sensor to detect the human existence and the height of waste-bucket. This prototype makes gained some achievement such us: organic-waste detection is 95%, inorganic-waste detection is 97.5%, close-entrance point distance is 99.26%, organic-waste distance sensor is 99.07%, inorganic-waste distance sensor is 99.21%, monitoring-result in a real-time way delivery and notify the users through an android application and informs that the waste-bucket already fulfilled Keywords: Waste management, Organic and inorganic waste, Microcontroller ESP 32, Notification.
