Abstract
I Irrigation is an attempt to stream water by buildings and channels to drain water for agricultural purposes, distribute water to rice fields regularly and discard the rest which is no longer needed.. . The current irrigation system is still done conventionally, therefore technology needs to be applied by facilitating performance and monitoring it, by developing an irrigation system that is controlled automatically by a microcontroller by adding a water-flow sensor to measure water discharge and an ultrasonic sensor to determine water level. This prototype is using Arduino Uno and Wemos microcontrollers as processors, and it’s connected to the Android Smartphone Application via internet connection or commonly known as IOT (Internet of Things), IOT allows the applications to connect to all devices to send datas to irrigation’s officer, which is it according to the community requests’ schedule when the water was distributed. the device works based on predetermined schedule on the android application which is then stored on the server to be read on the microcontroller, after the device has finished to irrigate based on the schedule, the device would send notifications to the Android Application and sends the water’s data. The testing the data transmission obtained an average time for sending data for 1287 ms. Keywords: Irrigation Automation, The Wemos, The Water Flow, Notification
