Abstract

Companies that have a good value added, considered a company that has a good financial performance.This study aims to examine the financial performance of the cigarette industry in Indonesia by using EVA and MVA. The observations were conducted on four tobacco companies during 2013-2016 by observing the financial statements. Descriptive statistiques were used to find EVA and MVA values and to describe them in tables and graphs. The results of the study showed that cigarette industry EVA was
negative while MVA was positive but both showed the same decreasing trend during the study period
