Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian perencanaan bangunan pemecah gelombang (breakwater) yang berada di kawasan Pantai Banongan, Kabupaten Situbondo bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan bangunan breakwater pada suatu pelabuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis empiris data sekunder, dengan sifat data kuantitatif menggunakan beberapa rumusan formula. Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, maka diperoleh beberapa kesimpulan besar, yaitu pertama, akibat pengaruh arah dan besar gelombang laut adalah panjang garis pengaruh arah gelombang (fetch effective max) 1353,864 km, tinggi gelombang signifikan (hs) 0,33m, dan periode gelombang (ts) 5,5 detik. Kedua, dimensi bangunan breakwater yaitu elevasi puncak breakwater (et) 7,02 m, tinggi breakwater (hb) 7,02 m, berat butir lapis lindung (w) 1.400 kg , berat butir lapis lindung (w) 1.100 kg, lebar puncak breakwater (b) 1,08 m, tebal lapis dinding (t)1,9m, jumlah batu pelindung (n) 22 buah, dan diameter batu pelindung (d) 0,4 m3. Parameter daya dukung tanah bangunan breakwater memiliki nilai faktor keamanan dengan syarat total volume (25559,33) di haruskan lebih kecil nilainya dari Pn (482652,61), Syarat= total volume < Pn = 25559,33 < 482652,61, sehingga bangunan breakwater dengan dimensi yang telah diperhitungkan dikatakan layak dan aman untuk mengatasi gelombang yang merambat ke arah dalam pelabuhan. Kata Kunci: Bangunan, Gelombang, Pelabuhan, Penelitian, Perencanaan. Abstract Research on the planning of breakwater buildings in the Banongan Beach area, Situbondo Regency aims to analyze the planning of breakwater buildings in a port. The research method used is empirical analysis of secondary data, with the nature of quantitative data using several formulas. From the calculations that have been carried out, several major conclusions are obtained, namely first, due to the influence of the direction and magnitude of the ocean waves, the length of the line of influence of the direction of the wave (fetch effective max) is 1353.864 km, the significant wave height (hs) is 0.33m, and the period of the wave is 0.33m. wave (ts) 5.5 seconds. Second, the dimensions of the breakwater building are the elevation of the breakwater peak (et) 7.02 m, the height of the breakwater (hb) 7.02 m, the grain weight of the protected layer (w) 1,400 kg, the grain weight of the protected layer (w) 1,100 kg, the width of the breakwater peak. (b) 1.08 m, wall layer thickness (t) 1.9 m, number of protective stones (n) 22 pieces, and diameter of protective stone (d) 0.4 m3. The parameter of the soil bearing capacity of the breakwater building has a safety factor value with the condition that the total volume (25559.33) must be smaller than Pn (482652.61), Terms = total volume < Pn = 25559.33 < 482652.61, so that the breakwater building with dimensions that have been calculated are said to be feasible and safe to overcome waves that propagate towards the harbor.
