Abstract

Abstrak Scabies merupakan salah satu penyakit kulit menular yang disebabkan oleh tungau Sarcoptes scabiei yang menimbulkan rasa gatal dan timbul bintik-bintik kemerahan hingga muncul ruam pada area tubuh yang terinfeksi. Scabies dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor penyebab seperti buruknya sanitasi lingkungan, seseorang yang memiliki sanitasi yang buruk akan berdampak buruk terhadap kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan sanitasi lingkungan dengan kejadian scabies pada remaja putri usia (13-15 tahun). Desain penelitian ini yaitu studi korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional, populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 200 orang dengan sampel penelitian yang diperoleh sebanyak 133 responden dengan teknik simple random sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Spearman Rho. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas (54,9%) responden memiliki sanitasi lingkungan buruk, dan mayoritas (57,9%) responden mengalami scabies, didapatkan p value 0,0001 artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sanitasi lingkungan dengan kejadian scabies pada remaja putri usia (13-15 tahun), dengan nilai r = 0,573 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang (0,40-0,599), dan arah korelasi positif, sehingga semakin baik sanitasi lingkungan maka angka kejadian scabies semakin rendah. Sanitasi lingkungan yang kurang baik dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penyakit scabies di kalangan remaja, maka dari itu diperlukannya sarana prasarana yang cukup memadai dilingkungan sekitar untuk mengurangi angka kejadian scabies. Kata kunci : Kejadian Scabies, Santriwati, Sanitasi Lingkungan Abstract Scabies is a one of skin disease caused in the mite sarcoptes scabiei which itching and reddish spots to appear until a rash on the infected area of body. Scabies can be influenced by several factors such as a badsanitation, someone who has bad sanitation will have a negative impact on their health. Purpose of this study was to determine relationship between environmental sanitation and incidence of scabies in young girl aged (13-15 years). Design of this research is correlational study with cross sectional approach, all population in this study was 200 people and research sample was 133 respondents using random sampling technique. Statistical test using Spearman Rho. Results of analysis showed that the majority (54, 9%) of respondents have a bad environmental sanitation, and majority (57.9%) of respondents experienced, obtained p value 0.0001 there is a significant relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of scabies in adolescent girls aged (13-15 years), with the value of r = 0.573 which is included in moderate category (0.40-0.599), direction correlation in this study is positive, so better the environmental sanitation lower the incidence of scabies. A bad environmental sanitation can make scabies disease among adolescents, therefore adequate infrastructure is needed in the surrounding environment to reduce the incidence of scabies.
