Abstract
Road of Otto Iskandardinata is one of the arterial roads in Jember Regency. based on this, to improve and develop road quality, it is necessary to design pavement thickness using the 2017 Bina Marga Method. The purpose of this research is to compare the results of pavement design, pavement thickness calculation, and calculation of the budget plan. The experiment uses primary data obtained from direct observation and uses secondary data from the Public Works Department of Highways Jember Regency, the calculation of the pavement thickness plan is carried out using the 2017 Bina Marga method. The results of selecting the type of pavement obtained from the 2017 Bina Marga method are rigid pavement with heavy traffic (on soil with CBR ≥ 2.5%) with a pavement structure of 285 mm thick concrete slab, 100 mm LMC foundation layer, 150 mm drainage layer, joints with dowels, subbase layer 125 mm using binder and AC ≥ 100 mm thick with granular foundation layer (ESA rank 5) with pavement structure AC WC 40 mm, AC BC 60 mm, AC Base 160 mm, and Class LPA A 300 mm.
