Abstract

Analisis Pengaruh Batas Cair dan Angka Pori Terhadap Indeks Pemampatan Primer (Studi Kasus : Tanah Lempung di Kranjingan, Kabupaten Jember) Analysis of the Effect of Liquid Limit and Pore Number on Primary Compression Index (Case Study: Clay Soil in Kranjingan, Jember Regency) Abstrak Indeks kompresi (Cc) merupakan parameter yang sangat berpengaruh pada penurunan yang terjadi akibat proses konsolidasi tanah, terutama pada lapisan tanah lunak. Terdapat rumus empiris untuk mempermudah dalam mencari nilai indeks kompresi (Cc) yang telah dibuat oleh peneliti terdahulu anatara lain, Naccl et al. (1975) untuk lempung yang dibentuk kembali (Remolded Clays), penelitian ini menggunakan data dari lapangan, untuk tanah lempung di Kranjingan Kabupaten Jember mendapatkan nilai batas cair tanah lempung asli sebesar 83%, kemudian subtitusi penambahan pasir untuk menurunkan nilai batas cairnya yaitu penambahan pasir sebesar 55% mendapat nilai batas cair 40% dan penambahan pasir seberat 30% mendapat nilai batas cair 30%. Pada tanah lempung asli mendapat nilai gs 2.50 dan nilai gs pasir 2,49 kemudian dilakukan remolded untuk mwnghasilkan berat sampel tanah yang berbeda beda untuk dilakukan uji konsolidasi, penelitian ini melakukan 9 sampel konsolidasi dengan tiga bayas cair yang berbeda-beda dan angka pori (e) yang berbeda-beda juga. Untuk tanah lempung di Kranjingan mendapat nilai Cc= 0.3346 LL -0.211 terdapat korelasi nilai batas cair dengan nilai Cc. terdapat korelasi antara nilai angka pori dengan nilai Cc pada tanah lempung di Kranjingan dengan nilai Cc= 180.02 eo -19538. Terdapat korelasi antara angka pori (e), batas cair (LL) dan Cc dengan hasil berbanding lurus. Kata Kunci: Indeks Kompresi, Angka Pori, Batas Cair, Statiska. Abstract Compression index (Cc) is a parameter that is very influential on the settlement that occurs due to the soil consolidation process, especially in soft soil layers for laboratory testing. There is an empirical formula to make it easier to find the value of the compression index (Cc) that has been made by previous researchers, among others, Naccl et al. (1975) for remolded clays, this study uses data from the field, for clay in Kranjingan, Jember Regency, the liquid limit value of the original clay is 83%, then substitutes the addition of sand to reduce the liquid limit value, namely the addition of sand 55% gets a liquid limit value of 40% and the addition of sand weighing 30% gets a liquid limit value of 30%. The original clay soil got a gs value of 2.50 and a sand gs value of 2.49 then remolded to produce different soil sample weights for the consolidation test, this study carried out 9 consolidation samples with three different liquid payloads and void ratios (e ) are also different. For clay in Kranjingan, the Cc = 0.3346 LL -0.211 has a correlation between the liquid limit value and the Cc value. there is a correlation between the void ratio value and the Cc value in the clay soil at Kranjingan with a value of Cc = 180.02 eo -19538. There is a correlation between void ratio (e), liquid limit (LL) and Cc with a directly proportional yield. Keywords: Compression Index, Pore Number, Liquid Limid, Statistic.
