ABSTRACT
Background : Diabetes Mellitus is a state of hyperglemia that is characterized by
a state of absolute insulin which is chronic which can affect carbohydrate
metabolism.
Method : The author uses a nursing approach that, includes : nursing assessment,
nursing diagnosis, nursing planning, nursing management and nursing evaluation.
With data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation
studies and literature studies.
The Results : After nursing action after 3 visits obtained 3 diagnoses, namely:
anxiety associated with pressure stressors, ineffectiveness of coping associated
with inadequate opportunities to prepare for stressors, powerlessness associated
with pain.
Conclusion : cooperation between nurses, patients and families is needed for the
success of nursing care in patients so that the patient's nursing problems regarding
asietas, ineffectiveness of coping, helplessness related to pain and can be
implemented properly and the problem can be resolved.
