Abstract

Surgery in Indonesia ranks 11th out of the first 50 disease treatments in hospitals throughout Indonesia with 1.2 million surgical patients. Anxiety or anxiety is one of the problems that are often found in patients who will undergo the surgical process. Patients who experience prolonged anxiety before surgery if not treated can result in not performing or canceling surgery. Reducing the anxiety level of nurses doing Benson relaxation therapy as a non-pharmacological action. The purpose of this study was to analyze nursing care with clients who experience cholelithiasis with anxiety in RSD dr. Soebandi Jember for 3 days on March 14-16, 2022. This study used data collection methods with assessments through interviews with clients. The conclusion in this study that Mrs. M was able to apply the techniques related to Benson therapy that had been taught well before so that it was found in the client's progress record on day 3 before surgery his anxiety level decreased with a HARS score of less than 6 = no anxiety, so Cholecystectomy surgery could be performed.
