Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1). Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L) terhadap pemberian dosis fosfor., 2). Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L) terhadap waktu pemupukan, 3). Interaksi antara pemberian fosfor dan waktu pemupukan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF) yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor yang pertama yaitu Dosis SP-36 dengan empat taraf, P0 = 0 kg/ha P1= 150 kg/ha (0,75 g/polybag) P2= 300 kg/ha (1,5 g/polybag) P3= 450 kg/ha (2,25 g/polybag) dan faktor yang kedua Waktu Pemupukan dengan 3 taraf yaitu W1= 1 mst, W2= 2 mst, W3= 3 mst. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan dosis fosfor berbeda sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun 28 dan 35 hst, jumlah cabang 28 dan 35 hst, jumlah bunga mekar, jumlah bunga jadi, jumlah buah, berat buah, panjang buah, dan diameter buah, sedangkan perlakuan waktu pemupukan berbeda nyata terhadap variabel jumlah daun 28 dan 35 hst, jumlah cabang 28 dan 35 hst, jumlah bunga mekar, dan jumlah bunga jadi, untuk interaksi perlakuan dosis fosfor dan waktu pemupukan berbeda sangat nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan 28 dan 35 hst, jumlah cabang 28 dan 35 hst, dan jumlah bunga mekar.
