Abstract
The purpose of this study were: 1) to determine the increase of production and profitability of every process of production as a result of the application of information technology in designing batik motifs labako than ever before, and 2) To study the response of markets to post the application of information technology after leaving the previous tradition. This type of research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative research methods and sample surveys are craftsmen babtik labako wrote in the Village Sumberpakem Sumberjambe District of Jember, digital-based design motives and end customers in several places marketing products. To answer the first objective analysis of the advantages and the use of different test average t-test, while the second is used to answer the purpose of descriptive analysis tool with models presenting the frequency table. The results of this study revealed that 1) the average level of production and profit batik craft Labako Sumberjambe Jember increased respectively by 27% and 36.04% compared to previous test results supported the t test where t count> t-table on real level of 1%; and 2) the average response of craftsmen on the application of information technology are increasingly satisfied and enjoys his job. In addition, There are some market response to the results of batik batik labako cent said production quality is very good, it had been able to meet market demands and motives are quite exotic, but others also said there needs to be accelerated production, modification pattern is less varied and basic tobacco leaf picture is less clear, which each amounted to 8.57%, 12.86%, 21.43%, 30.00%, 7.14%, and 10.00% of respondents.
