Abstract

ABSTRAK Tembakau merupakan komoditas unggulan di Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui perbedaan biaya produksi, produktivitas, keuntungan antar skala usaha, (2) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usahatani tembakau Voor-Oogst, (3) mengukur apakah penggunaan input usahatani tembakau Voor-Oogst sudah efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan komparatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Jember. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji beda, analisis regresi berganda, analisis efisiensi alokatif, dan secara statistik diuji menggunakan uji F dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata produktivitas tembakau Voor-Oogst di Kabupaten Jember pada musim tanam 2019 adalah 18,24 ku/ha, (2) ada perbedaan produktivitas cabai rawit antara petani sempit dengan petani luas, di mana yang dihasilkan petani sempit 18,04 ku/ha lebih rendah dibandingkan petani luas 18,47 ku/ha dan secara statistik signifikan pada taraf uji 5%, (3) faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi adalah luas lahan, bibit dan tenaga kerja, sedangkan faktor pupuk Urea, pupuk ZA, pestisida bubuk dan cair berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap produksi tembakau Voor-Oogst di Kabupaten Jember, (4) faktor produksi dalam usahatani tembakau Voor-Oogst di Kabupaten Jember untuk luas lahan, bibit, dan tenaga kerja, belum efisien secara alokatif, (5) rata-rata keuntungan usahatani tembakau Voor-Oogst di Kabupaten Jember pada musim tanam 2019 sebesar Rp28.837.621,00/ha, (6) ada perbedaan keuntungan tembakau Voor-Oogst antara petani sempit dengan petani luas, dimana yang dihasilkan petani sempit sebesar Rp25.380.759,51/ha lebih rendah dibandingkan petani sempit sebesar Rp34.386.406,39/ha dan secara statistik signifikan pada taraf uji 5%. Kata Kunci : Usahatani, Voor-Oogst.   ABSTRACT Tobacco is a leading commodity in the district of Jember. The objectives of this study were: (1) to determine differences in production costs, productivity, profits between business scales, (2) identify factors that influence the production of Voor-Oogst tobacco farming, (3) measure whether the use of Voor-Oogst tobacco farming inputs is efficient. This research uses descriptive and comparative methods. The location of the study was conducted in Jember Regency. Methods of data analysis using different tests, multiple regression analysis, allocative efficiency analysis, and statistically tested using the F test and t test. The results of the study concluded that: (1) the average productivity of Voor-Oogst tobacco in Jember Regency in the planting season of 2019 was 18.24 ku/ha, (2) there were differences in the productivity of cayenne pepper between narrow farmers and broad farmers, where what was produced narrow farmers 18.04 ku/ha are lower than broad farmer 18.47 ku/ha and statistically significant at the 5% test level, (3) factors that have a significant effect on production are land area, seeds and labor, while factors of Urea fertilizer, ZA fertilizer, powder and liquid pesticides had no significant effect on Voor-Oogst tobacco production in Jember Regency, (4) production factors in Voor-Oogst tobacco farming in Jember Regency for land area, seeds, and labor, were not allocatively efficient, (5) the average profit of Voor-Oogst tobacco farming in Jember Regency in the 2019 planting season is Rp28,837,621.00/ha, (6) there wwas a difference in the profit of Voor tobacco -Oogst between maps this is narrow with broad farmers, where narrow farmers are Rp25,308,759.51/ha lower than narrow farmers Rp34,386,406.39/ha and statistically significant at the 5% test level.
