Abstract

Adolescen development is an issue that need to be considered in national development. Adilescent problem accur, because they are not ready on the knowledge of the aspect related to the transition from chilhood to adulth. One of the problemsfoced by teens today is about adolescenthealth particularlywith regard to reproductive health. Boarding schoolas one of the models of fath-based education in Indonesia also have a big influence to always access the information related to reproductive health. The purpsose of the study is to identify the learning needs of reproductive health for young women in traditional pesantren. This study used descriptive analytic methode with sampel taken by purposive sampling in pondok pesantre Darus Saadah the number of 30 female students. To strengthen the results, the reasearch also obtained data on the management school and community leaders. The results of this study showed that 75% of female students want a healthy reproductive learning at the school. Female student in needs of learning about the anatomy and function of the female body. Other findings from the boarding manager said, there is no special curriculum in traditional boarding school. Understanding of reproductive health be learned throught the yellow book and morality lessons. The findings indicate that much remain to be developed about teaching reproductive health for young women in school and help them minimize the impact of violations of reproductive health.
