Abstract

One of the complications of diabetes mellitus that occurs is the occurrence of foot ulcers or often referred to as diabetic foot. One of the non-conventional therapies to address diabetic ulcers is Ozone Bagging Therapy, which is ozonation treatment method using ozone bags and wrapping foot ulcers and pumping flow of ozone gas into the pockets of ozone for 15 minutes. The study design using pre-experimental design approach one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is that patients with diabetic ulcers in the Nirmala Home of Wound Puger Jember average number of 20 patients per month. The sample used in this study was 8 respondents using quota sampling technique. After being Wilcoxon test obtained value P Value = 0.011 or p <0.05 means that H1 is accepted. This means that there is the effect ozone bagging therapy on wound healing of diabetic ulcers patients at Nirmala Home of Wound Puger Jember. The study recommended to nurses to be applied by nurses as part of the treatment of diabetic ulcers to accelerate wound healing in patients with diabetic ulcers to speed up the regeneration of the wound.
