Abstract

The development of very sophisticated information and communication technology, one of which is social media, namely Tiktok. This application is currently a trend among students and can change the morals of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Genteng. This study compiles the formulation of the problem, namely whether social media influences the morals of 12th grade MIPA students at Muhammadiyah 2 Genteng High School. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of social media tiktok on student morals. This research method uses a quantitative approach in the form of simple linear regression analysis, collecting data through a questionnaire based on a Likert scale. The number of respondents in this study were 77 students from class 12 MIPA. This study uses 4 standard tests from validity to normality tests, thus the results show that social media tiktok has a significant effect on student morals of 0.226 or 22.6%. Research data based on the results can be concluded that the effect of social media tiktok on student morals is 22.6% or in the low category, which means the rest is influenced by other factors.
